Bengo Media wins South East Business of the Year at the Welsh SME Business Awards 2019
On Wednesday 30th October, a host of inspiring Welsh SME businesses gathered at a glittering awards ceremony held at the Exchange Hotel in Cardiff to celebrate their successes over the last year.
The Welsh SME Business Awards are a celebration of the SME entrepreneurs and thriving businesses that service all industries across Wales, with accolades that include Unique Business of the Year, Growth Business of the Year and SME Business of the Year.
To our surprise, Bengo Media was awarded the South East Business off the Year award for 2019!
The last 18 months have been a whirlwind for us; and in the last year alone we’ve produced podcasts for Pitney Bowes, Surrey County Cricket Club, Life Sciences Hub Wales, and adventure athlete Richard Parks; collaborated with other communications agencies to create podcasts for HCA Healthcare UK and Welsh Government; and offered training and consultancy to Community Housing Cymru, Chartered Institute of Public Relations, BrandContent, BFBS (British Forces Broadcasting Service) and Macmillan.
Picking up this award for our work was certainly a bit of a shock, but it’s a really great feeling to know that our passion for the humble podcast is catching on.
